Overview of laboratories serving research and teaching

1. Computer and network room 

The computer room of the Department has been invested with many modern equipment.

- Computer system: including 30 HP apparatus (Hp Compaq 8110) with synchronous configuration for specialized subjects and basic subjects of the Department of Physics & Technical Physics.

- Network system: including many powerful network devices such as IBM server system X3650 M3, 3 CISCO routers, 3 Switch Layer 2 of CISCO, Rack 42U, ...

2. Specialize laboratory

The specialized subject laboratory of the Department at E306 includes many experimental systems for research and teaching for Computer Physics students and for Master's students in Technical Physics. The laboratory consists of 5 test systems such as: DSP test system, Microcontroller and embedded testing system, Sensor and measurement test system, digital and analog test system, robot testing system.

2.1. DSP experiment system

Devices:

+ 5 dedicated digital signal processors: TMS320C6713 DSP Starter Kit, able to communicate with Simulink / Matlab.

+ 2 dedicated digital signal processors: TMS320C6711 DSP Starter Kit, able to communicate with Simulink / Matlab.

+ Digital oscilloscope: Agilent DSO 3102A, 2 channel, 100MHz, 1GSa / s.

+ Digital oscilloscope: Tektronix TDS 2012B, 2 channel, 100MHz, 1GSa / s.

+ Digital oscilloscope: Tektronix MSO 4032, 2 channel, 350MHz, 5GSa / s, mixed signal.

+ EASY 8051 Development Board microcontroller test kit: 5 sets

+ PIC Development Board microcontroller test board: 5 sets

+ PIC 3 Development Board microcontroller kit: 2 sets

+ Experiment kit on FPGA KIT DE1 Altera: 10 sets
