RECRUITMENT: TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST AT STEAMax Education

 

STEMax Education – a company specializing in the design and provision of internationally standardized STEM/STEAM programs. STEMax organizes STEM activities and programs for students aged 3 to 19, as well as teacher training sessions in Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Indonesia.

Notably, the CEO and founder – Mr. Phạm Nguyễn Hoàng Thịnh – is an alumnus of the Department of Physics – Engineering Physics, University of Science, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCMUS). With a strong academic background and a passion for educational innovation, he founded STEAMax as a bridge between scientific knowledge and practical application, contributing to elevating STEM education in Vietnam to new heights.

1. Job Description

As a Technology Specialist, you will directly implement, provide technical support, and develop educational products at STEAMax. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting experiments and building learning models: Preparing, operating, and maintaining technical equipment and models used in teaching programs.

  • Researching and developing educational products: Participating in the design, testing, and improvement of experiment kits, educational software, and technical documents.

  • Designing circuits and embedded programming: Assisting in the development of products such as robots, sensors, IoT devices… for teaching and demonstration purposes.

  • Supporting teaching and events: Assisting instructors in classrooms and accompanying them at events such as workshops, exhibitions, science fairs, and STEAM festivals.

  • Managing and maintaining technical equipment: Monitoring the status, performing repairs, and ensuring the safe operation of equipment systems.

  • Internal training and technical support: Organizing training sessions for teachers, staff, and students on how to use educational equipment and software.

2. Benefits and Compensation

  • Task-based remuneration: from 200,000 VND to 500,000 VND, depending on task complexity.

  • Flexible collaborator contract, based on mutual agreement.

  • Allowances:

    • Travel support (25,000 VND per session if traveling more than 10 km within Ho Chi Minh City)

    • Accommodation and business trip allowance (for work outside the city/province)

  • Learning and development opportunities: Priority to participate in specialized training programs (fully or partially funded).
