Physics and Computer Science is a discipline that combines the core components of Physics and Computer Science. The program of Physics and Computer Science is built on the basic knowledge of the two disciplines so that learners have a solid foundation of physics and computer science, grasp the intersection of these two disciplines and are knowledgeable about computer applications in some areas.
Department of Physics and Computer Science, Faculty of Physics & Engineering Physics, University of Science, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City was founded in 1998. Each year the number of students studying in the Department from 20 to 50 students. After more than ten years of training, up to now, the Department has been allowed by the National University of Ho Chi Minh City to pursue a Master's degree - major in Engineering Physics from 2010.
The goal of Physics and Computer Science is to train students with basic knowledge of Physics and the necessary skills in Computer Science to be able to use computers effectively in research institutions, factories and production facilities, or rearching and teaching.
