Graduate Admissions

The graduate training programs of the Department of Applied Physics include:

- Master's training program, with two specializations:

+ Optics

+ Radiophysics and Electronics (Applied Physics orientation)

- PhD training program in Optics

 

* For the Master's program

Admission eligibility: candidates holding a bachelor's degree in the correct field of physics, physics education, or a suitable field from universities nationwide may sit the entrance examination for Optics and for Radiophysics and Electronics (Applied Physics orientation); or candidates holding a bachelor's degree in a field closely related to the intended field, who must take supplementary courses before the examination.

Entrance examination subjects and review format:
- Basic subject: Mathematics for Physics
- Foundation subject: Atomic Physics
- Foreign language: according to the University's general requirements
Before the entrance examination, the Faculty and Department open review classes covering the entrance material
Examination dates (annually): May and October
Application submission (annually): March and August

 

* For the PhD program

Candidates need a dissertation supervisor and must meet the University's general requirements.

Admission interview dates (annually): May and October
Application submission (annually): March and August
